Teresa Wilson ~ November 1998
This is me in one of my favorite places around, Lockegee
Rock. Lockegee is
one of the places I go when I need the ultimate path to peace.
It's about a 30 minute
hike to the top and from there you can see acres and acres of the beautiful
rolling hills
of Kentucky. If you would like to see more photos of Kentucky, be sure
and visit
"My Corner of Kentucky" these are
some of my favorite spots close by.
Well I guess this is where I'm supposed to talk about myself, something
that I have a
little trouble doing, so bear with me please.
I guess to make this short and simple, I'm just a country girl...born and
raised in these
gracious hills. I've never been the diamonds and high heels type of woman,
give me a
field full of wild flowers and I'm in paradise. Nature has always been
a big part of who I am.
A source of medication when I'm ailing, a friend when I'm lonely, I feel
God's smile in the sun
and His embrace in the breeze. I believe I was born here, because God knew
that I would
need this healing place. There is no greater serenity for me, than the
sound of
children's laughter echoing off the cliff and rolling out over these hills.
Everyday I thank Him
for this awesome gift.
I don't know what else to say about myself, I guess if you really
want to get to know me,
you should read some of my poetry. My heart and soul come alive in those
poems, the few
that I've written, and the ones to come. When people read my poetry, they
sometimes ask
where I get my inspiration. All I can say is it comes from within,
I've had my share of
struggles, but it was always my spirit that pushed me onward. I've created
this website
on the basis of my poetry, to share with you this part of me. I gave this
site the title of
"Resounding Revelations ~ Echoes of Silent Lucidity"
because most of what is written here, is about events from earlier
years, in which I
have only recently found words to express. You will get to know the people
that have
influenced my life, through my eyes. If you care to stick around, you may
find yourself
strolling through my field of wild flowers, and I hope you are barefoot
when you come.
Enjoy your visit here and please feel free to sign my guestbook or write
me
with your comments.
God bless you
(((((Hugs)))))
