I had but one wish be granted in this life

would be that all your wishes come true.....
Last
night I dreamed that I could fly
My
spirit was lifted into the night sky
Above
the earth in bliss I did soar
Weightless
I lit at an open door
A
sweet song of praise rang out so clear
Celestial
hymns embracing my fear
Surrounded
by angels I cooed in delight
Sank
into the solace of glorious light
Drifting
in slumber I then saw above
Jesus
waiting His eyes full of love
I
read every word that shown in His eyes
I
then felt His arms as I began to rise
In
one fleeting moment my pain was freed
No
longer grounded by an aching need
I
let it all flow from the pit of my shame
As
my spirit rejoiced and the angels sang
Tears
of happiness adorned my face
As
my heart swelled open with His grace
A
love so profound dawned in His light
As
He nodded to me and sent me aflight
Search
no more sweet child of dreams
Trust
in His love and your own wings
