Lord I know

I didn't always
feel this way
Until you sent
an Angel
Who taught
me how to pray
He has more

In his eyes

He shared with
me his story
How he lived
in fear and pain

kindred spirits stir

His kindness

As he saw through

As I searched
to find myself

As though I
found her on a shelf
His words ring
through the darkness
My fear is
silenced to speak
"The beauty

It was then
I knew you sent him
For my life
was changed that day
I felt your
power move through him
In tears I
knelt to pray
Dear Lord I
am so grateful
You have blessed
me with this bond
His presence
holds a light of hope
That shines
through me and beyond
One night my
Angel came to me
He said he
must soon fly home
I felt my heart
being torn from me
Without him
I am alone
I threw myself
down on the floor
Lord how can
this be true
How could you
take his young life away
He has been
so true to you
I lay frozen
in the darkness
My confusion
had nowhere to turn
And then the
answer came to me
As a light
began to burn
My Angel can
never leave me
At this moment
I feel him here
His love has
filled my life with light
There is nothing
I should fear
I have grown
to love him deeply
Lord only you
would understand
I finally see
what it means to live
Through the
heart of a dying man
I know one
day you will call him
And he will
spread those peaceful wings
